FORUM MEMBERS AND WORLD PILOTAGE 

The 4th Đà Nẵng Asia Pacific Maritime Pilots’ Forum(APMPF) was held in ‘Furama Resort’ in Vietnam for 3 days September 4~6 2025. About 160 persons participated this events and 55 delegates and 17 accompanying persons officially registered from International Maritime Pilots’ Association (IMPA), Australasian Marine Pilots Institute, Darussalam Pilotage Services Sdn Bhd, Hong Kong Pilots Association Limited, INAMPA, Korea Maritime Pilot's Association, Malaysia Marine Department, Maritime pilots Malaysia, MISC Marine Sdn Bhd, New Zealand Maritime Pilots Association, Niugini Pilots Limited, PSA Marine, Shanghai Maritime Pilots' Association, Kaohsiung Harbour Pilots Association, Taipei Pilot Office, Thai Pilot Bureau, Marine Department, Vietnam Maritime Pilots’ Association, AD Navigation AS, Port Sultan Qaboos – ASYAD, ISPO, Map Sea, OMC Inte

The 4th Asia Pacific Maritime Pilots'  Forum will held at Danag city of Vietnam coming  September. Vietnam Maritime Pilot's Association (Chairman Capt. Quach Dinh Hung) informed the forum date (4th September to 6) and main topics.  VMPA recently opened the registration website and the detail programs will be update soon via  ​  https://apmpf2025.hoatieuvietnam.com.vn You can download the official invitation letter from VMPA.     

The 3rd Seoul Asia Pacific Maritime Pilots’ Forum(APMPF) was held in ‘The Plaza Hotel’ of Seoul, South Korea for 3 days August 29~31 2023. About 100 persons participated this events and 58 delegates and 19 accompanying persons officially registered from Australia, Brunie, Canada(IMPA), China Shanghai, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, New zealand(Maker), Papua New Guinea, Singapore, South Korea(Host country), UK(IMPA), Taiwan(Kaohsiung&Keelung) and Vietnam were officially registered.  Capt. Jo, Yong Hwa, the president of Korea Maritime Pilots' Association welcomed all participants andCapt.IMPA president Capt.Simon Pelletier delivered the congratulatory message for the event. Vietnam Maritime Pilots’ Association(VMPA) informed the passing away of their vice-chairman Capt. MAI, XUAN THANG on 14th May 2023 to IMPA(International Maritime Pilots' Association) and APMPF(Asia Pacific Maritime Pilots' Forum). Capt. MAI, XUAN THANG, He was an excellent and respected pilot for playing a vital role in promoting excellence in Vietnam maritime pilotage and many aspects. VMPA expressed their heartfelt condolences to his family and had a memorial event on 16th May 2023. And many APMPF members also expressed their sincere sympathies.

After long endurance from COVID-19, the 3rd Asia Pacific Maritime Pilots’ Forum(APMPF) will be held at ‘The Plaza Hotel’ located in Seoul, the center of Korean tourism for 3days in 29(Tue.)~31(Thu.) August 2023. This forum started in Bali, Indonesia 2017, and the second forum in Sydney, Australia 2019.  So more than 10 countries of Asia-Pacific regions maritime pilots will join the event.
